Jury rules
- The jury only evaluates what was submitted on time by teams where all members are admitted to the hackathon with a valid ticket and ID (see how to pitch).
- The jury as a group can decide on winners of its own free will. There is no legal way to appeal against the decision.
- If a member of the jury is biased or has a personal interest in the outcome, they must declare this to the jury and abstain themselves from their vote.
- The moderator of the jury has the last vote on all decisions.
Jury criteria
The jury decides on qualitative criteria, so you don’t need to submit quantitative proof.
Preferences
- Reproducible code is preferred
- Idea, concept and execution takes AI paradigm into account
- If responding to a challenges, the objectives mentioned there are addressed

- Technical Functionality: Impressive degree of functionality, demonstrates several steps of technical achievement
- User Experience: Beautiful, simple to use, responsive design
- Skillful use of AI: Skillfull applications of AI throughout the project
- Uniqueness / Creativity / Fun Factor: Rock stars - have exceeded expectations and created something very unique that could go viral
- Potential / Market Impact: Unique, with very high market opportunity
